Weddings around the world: Spanish ties for wedding

There is a creative Spanish custom which is very similar to a Hungarian tradition. In Hungary the guests give money in a tricky way to the couple: everyone can buy a turn from the Bride and dance with her.

In Spain it's the opposite in a view, because the Groom has a special task: give his tie to be cut by the invited men. Then they bid for its pieces.
Nowadays the best man has another, expendable tie with him, so the groom's fancy and pricey tie can be saved.
